In 2024 we implemented a hurricane policy.
If you have been notified that we are missing this form for your pets chart please click the link below to complete the hurricane policy form so that we can add it to your file.
If you are a new client you will find this form in your new client paperwork. New clients do not need to fill this out in addition to the new client forms.
Hurricane Season is June - November.
Fox Creek Pet Ranch is NOT a hurricane rated facility. For the safety of the animals and our employees we are unable to provide boarding services during a named storm projected to hit the state of Florida.
Our procedure:
Once a storm is projected to affect the state of Florida we will immediately suspend all check in’s and begin our evacuation procedure. We must have everyone evacuated 24 hours prior to landfall to allow our staff time to evacuate if necessary.
Client options for evacuation:
If you are unable/unwilling to evacuate your pet(s) you are giving consent to Fox Creek Pet Ranch and their employees, family members, and any community volunteers full permission to make any and all decisions they deem fit for your pet(s) and the safety of the human lives involved. This may include, but is not limited to, transferring them to a different facility, utilizing employee/family/community support for aid in care and transportation, or leaving your pet in our facility unattended if it is determined human lives and safety are at risk. We cannot/will not guarantee the safety of your pet(s) left in our care during a natural disaster. Pet owners assume all responsibility for the outcome of their pets(s) if they are not picked up 24 hours prior to landfall.
Any pet not picked up 24 hours prior to landfall will be charged $250 per day fee/ per pet.
Any fees associated with transport or relocation will be at the owners expense.
By signing this form and boarding your pet at our facility, you fully understand and agree that there is always a risk that is out of our control with a natural disaster. This could include, but is not limited to, minor injuries or even death of you pet(s). You agree to hold Fox Creek Pet Ranch, their employees, family members and any community volunteers harmless if anything happens to your pet(s) if they are not evacuated 24 hours prior to landfall during a natural disaster like a hurricane or a tornado.
