Food Prep Policy

DRY FOOD & SPECIALTY DIETS 

(Farmers Dog, Fresh Pet, Raw, Homemade, Etc.)

For Pets who get measured amounts of food: 

Please pack your pet's meals in individual zip lock bags or in reusable containers that seal. 

1. Place one meal in each bag/container. 
2. Label each meal with your pet's first and last name.
3. If AM/PM are different, please specify.
4. You may add any treats, supplements, and/or medications they normally eat with their food or we can give that separately. 
5. For speciality diets: Please cut/slice/dice/portion if needed before dividing up.

PETS THAT FREE FEED 

This means we just need to keep their bowl full and it does not get portioned.

You can bring their food in an airtight container or large ziplock bags. Please label with your pet's first and last name.

PACK EXTRA

We suggest packing an extra day or two of food in case of an emergency or delayed travel plans.

DO NOT bring food in bulk bags that do not seal. All food must be brought in air tight containers or zip lock bags. 

CANNED FOOD

If your pet gets canned or container wet food please label each one with their first & last name. No need to portion. Just let us know how much per meal. We have can lids here.

HOUSE FOOD

We recommend bringing your own food to keep a balanced belly. 

We recommend only using house food in the event of an emergency. 

House food is $4 per meal and prep is included. 

FOOD PREP FEES

For any food that is not individually prepped there will be a $10 fee added for each pet for this service. This applies to dry and specialty diets.
